I've been working on the Maya Fundamentals material that Buzz put out this summer over at 3dbuzz. The teaching style is great and very laid back. The content was initially offered as a correspondence course at the start of summer. (Due to my contract ending with JET, I just could not take the course and had to wait until the content became available at a later date.) It covers the basics and them some of Maya within three projects. So far, I've made my way to the animatics stage of the second project, the Abduction. That means I've completed all of the modeling and the texturing. Even all the shots are set up to start the animation. I hope to have these animatics completed soon. I will try to complete this project in the next week or so and post it up in the 3D section.
