After rendering and re-rendering. The mech animation is finally complete. I ran into problems where the render engine would stop after about 100 or so frames. That wasn't a big deal. I just had to pick up where it left off. Also, it gave me a better perspective on what needed to be tweaked in the scene. When it finally got to the explosion, the transparency sorting was off. Thus making my fire look like popcorn. This was due to motion blur being processed, despite a fresh build of cached particles. In the end, I had all the frames rendered out. One other odd hangup was Virtual Dub would not compress the files into Xvid or Divx. So, I just converted over to Quicktime 7. I have also converted the Abduction video as well. I think this maybe a better option for those not running Windows. When Mechs Attack (5.4 mb, Quicktime 7)
